Enter a US property address above and the satellite view loads right on the lot — free, no login.
Want to save measurements, count stalls into quotes, and send them for approval?
LotBench does takeoff → quote → invoice in one tool, built for pavement crews.
How it works
How to measure a parking lot from satellite
Five steps from address to bid-ready numbers — no site visit required for the first pass.
- 1
Enter the property address
Type the lot's street address with city and state, hit Measure, and the satellite view loads centered on the property.
- 2
Trace the area
Switch to the measure tool and click the corners of the pavement. The square footage updates live with every point you drop.
- 3
Read sq ft — or switch to meters
The readout shows square feet by default; tap the unit toggle for square meters. Trace extra sections and the totals add up automatically.
- 4
Close the shape for perimeter
Click back on your first point to close the shape and get the perimeter — handy for curb, crack routing, and stencil runs. Leave a line open to measure straight lengths instead.
- 5
Count the stalls
Switch to the count tool and tap each stall. If the current imagery has cars or shadows in the way, flip to an earlier imagery year for a cleaner look at the lines.
One map, three takeoffs
Everything a pavement bid needs from one trace.
Area in sq ft
Trace the pavement outline for sealcoat square footage — multiple sections total automatically.
Lengths & perimeter
Measure crack runs, curb lines, and fire lanes in linear feet; close a shape to get its perimeter.
Stall counts
Tap every stall on the satellite view for a per-stall striping or restripe count.

FAQ
Measuring questions, answered.
How accurate is the satellite measurement?
Very close for bidding. The tool measures on high-resolution Esri satellite imagery, so a careful trace typically lands within a few percent of a wheel measurement — plenty for sealcoating, striping, and crack sealing estimates. For anything regulated, like ADA stall dimensions, verify on site before you commit.
Can I measure square footage for a sealcoating bid?
Yes. Enter the address, trace the pavement outline, and the square footage reads out live as you click. Trace multiple sections — drive lanes, islands, side lots — and the tool totals them. Switch to square meters with one tap if that's how you bid.
Can I count parking stalls?
Yes. Switch to the count tool and tap each stall on the satellite view. The running count is exactly what you need for a per-stall striping quote or a restripe layout.
Does it cost anything?
No. The measuring tool is completely free — no login, no credit card, no trial clock. Measure as many lots as you like.
Can I save my measurements?
Saving is what LotBench itself does: your takeoffs attach to the property, stall counts flow into per-stall quotes, and the quote becomes an invoice after approval. Join the waitlist and you'll be first in when it opens.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. The tool runs in any modern browser — iPhone, Android, or desktop — with nothing to install. It's built mobile-first, so you can pull up a lot and trace it on site or from the office.
